Vivian - Waiting for a Prince

A chihuahua/Papillion mix ( my guess) up for adoption at the SPCA she was a little bundle of happiness when ever people walked past her cage, its almost as if she keeps hoping that the next person will be the one...I went to play with her for awhile in her kennel just so she woudnt pay too much attention to my camera later on. Everytime someone walked past she would run to the front and do up on two legs in an aempt to greet the passers by. Sometimes she was rewarded with a few pats but after they left she would just watch them leave.

I managed to capture that moment as she was watching one person leave. Her eyes seem to express a certian sene of sadness and at the same time a strong faith that someday her "Prince" will come.

If you are thinking of getting a dog and have already considered the financial and time commitments, please adopt a dog from your local animal shelter/rescue. You could be saving a life.
